The Armspach Group

The research activity of Prof. Dominique Armspach has been revolving around cyclodextrin chemistry for applications in coordination chemistry and transition metal catalysis since his appointment in Strasbourg in 1996. Over the years, synthetic tools for preparing modified cyclodextrins capable of confining both metal or non metal active sites have been made available. With the creation of the ECMC group in 2017, we now intend to exploit molecular confinement for various applications ranging from transition metal catalysis to the preparation of transition metal complexes with enhanced luminescent properties.
